Skylight awarded contract by the CDC to rationalize their disparate landscape of vocabulary tools
We’re happy to announce that we’ve been awarded a SBIR Phase III contract by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to develop an enterprise-wide software platform called Vocabulizer. The purpose of this new platform is to rationalize the CDC’s disparate landscape of program-specific vocabulary tools in order to make it more efficient and effective to pass public health data between entities. We look forward to supporting the CDC in this important endeavor.

Skylight awarded contract by the CDC to support the development of EpiSync
We’re honored to be awarded a task order under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Pandemic Ready Interoperability Modernization Effort (PRIME) and Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) BPA to support the EpiSync initiative. EpiSync is intended to further the CDC’s Public Health Data Strategy by mitigating, improving, or eliminating labor-intensive steps in the nationally notifiable case data flow between state, tribal, local, and territorial (STLT) health departments and CDC, while also improving data quality and completeness.
